my child has never danced, and I am not sure they are ready. should we try dance?
You’ve come to the right place! We have a Twinkle Toes Program designed to introduce 2-4-year-olds to the world of dance! If your child is 5+ and has never danced before, we have beginning through intermediate dance classes, and will work with you to find just the right fit!
When can I enroll?
Registration for our upcoming Season begins in May. We close registration for the Season in December.
How do I enroll my child at ETOILE?
Once registration is open, you will select your classes and submit payment online to enroll. If you have any questions about registration, don’t hesitate to email us at info@etoiledanceyoga.com. We can also help you get registered over the phone 781-285-9226, or just pop in the studio and our friendly staff will assist!
How old does my child have to be to take DANCE classes at etoile?
Dance classes are available to ages 2 (as of September 1, 2023) through 18+.
What dance styles do you offer?

When do your sessions run?
Etoile operates on a similar schedule to that of a school calendar. Our dance season runs from early September through mid-June. We also offer summer camps from July through August! Be sure to check out our Studio Calendar.
is there a dress code?
We do have a dress code for our Toddler/Youth Programs – you can check it out here.
There is no formal dress code for adult classes. Wear what makes you comfortable! You may dance barefoot, or wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, etc. No street shoes are allowed in the studio.
Where do I buy dancewear and shoes?
SHOES All of our students coordinate hair, makeup, tights, costume, and shoes for our annual showcase, so we suggest starting the year off with the correct pair of shoes. Shoes should be purchased at Plymouth Dancewear.
DANCEWEAR Etoile carries a selection of dancewear items in our studio, or you can shop online at Nimbly or DiscountDance.com (just remember to use the teacher code "67153" at checkout!). You can also find dancewear at other retailers - we don’t have any brand requirements for what students wear for weekly classes.
What do I keep in my dancer’s dance bag?
Little ones should have their dance shoes, an extra elastic/scrunchie to tie hair back, and an extra leotard in case of an accident.
Older dancers will want all of their dance shoes, a spare leotard just in case, hair ties + bobby pins, deodorant, and a water bottle.
How much does a dance class cost?
Tuition at Etoile is per class and all-inclusive (included in the cost: tuition, showcase costume(s), and 1 showcase t-shirt per family.) Please see the tuition page for more details.
What performance opportunities do you offer?
Etoile presents an annual showcase at the end of the season in mid-June. Additionally, Etoile’s Competitive Dance Program performs at local events and competitions throughout the year.
How can I join Etoile’s Competitive Dance program?
Etoile is one cohesive family of dancers comprised of varying styles and ages. Competitive dancers perform at local community events and perform at competitions throughout the state of Massachusetts. Auditions are typically held in September. For more information see here.
How much are adult classes?
All of our adult classes are open, drop-in classes, so you can join at any time during the year with no required commitment. Adult classes are $20/class or we also offer packages and memberships. More information can be found here.
